What You Can Do

  • ✓Use Maffei-Icons for free, for personal and commercial projects
  • ✓Create and export unlimited icons
  • ✓Use exported icons in your apps, websites, and products
  • ✓Modify and customize icons as you wish

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Maffei-Icons ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

The Service is owned and operated by MaffeiFlow, developed by Ahmed Azier.

2. Description of Service

Maffei-Icons is a web-based icon design and customization tool that allows users to:

  • Browse and select from 3,000+ Lucide icons
  • Customize icons with colors, gradients, and effects
  • Add custom text and upload images
  • Export icons in various formats (PNG, SVG)
  • Generate favicon and app icon packs

The Service is provided free of charge and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 Icons You Create

You retain all rights to the icons you create using Maffei-Icons. You are free to use them for any purpose, including commercial use, without attribution.

3.2 Lucide Icons

The underlying icon designs are provided by Lucide, which is licensed under the ISC License. This means:

  • You can use the icons for free in personal and commercial projects
  • You can modify the icons
  • Icons you export can be used freely in your projects
  • Attribution is appreciated but not required for your exported icons

3.3 The Service

The Maffei-Icons application, including its code, design, and branding, is the property of MaffeiFlow. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service itself.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
  • Upload malicious content or harmful files
  • Impersonate MaffeiFlow or claim official affiliation
  • Use the Service to create content that infringes on others' rights

5. User Content

When you upload images or enter custom text, you represent that:

  • You own the content or have the right to use it
  • The content does not infringe on any third-party rights
  • The content is not illegal, harmful, or offensive

All user content is processed locally in your browser. We do not store or have access to your uploads.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Availability or uninterrupted access

We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAFFEIFLOW AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Loss of data
  • Business interruption
  • Any other intangible losses

This applies regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MaffeiFlow, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you create or upload

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Since no account is required, "termination" means restricting access to the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MaffeiFlow operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
